My real shot for the day. Also shot at f 5.6 and 1/100th. I had to bump up the ISO to 400 in order to easily handhold for the shot since it was sort of an awkward kneeling position.

A followup to yesterday's photo. I shot this one at f 5.6 and ISO 100. It turned out much "smoother" than the grainier version.

WOW...beautiful! i obviously have a LOT to learn about many things, but ISO being one of them!
Thanks for all your explanation of your photos. It's really helped me understand the concepts behind the settings. They're beautiful!
Gorgeous. It is amazing to see the difference your ISO setting made. I love the colors. I would totally buy prints like these.
I need to understand the "bump up the ISO because it was a handheld" That helps?? You and tips and tricks! :)
"Bump up the ISO" means that I started at ISO 100 and set my f-stop to 5.6 and the shutter speed was too slow for me to hand hold (the flower would have been blurry). So I moved the ISO up to 200 and it was still too low of a shutter speed, so I tried again at 400 ISO and I finally had a shutter that was fast enough for me to hold and still have my f-5.6. Does that make sense?
